Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Building Automation System (BAS) projects throughout the Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC region. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, construction, or a related technical field.
This individual will possess strong project management, financial, customer relationship, and leadership skills, with the ability to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Project Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a key role in supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities - Manage Building Automation projects from kickoff through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
- Lead project turnovers and reviews throughout all project phases.
- Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, meeting minutes, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and issue logs.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, and overall financial performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and subcontractors to ensure successful execution.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional project delivery.
- Resolve project issues through field surveys, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Schneider Electric's project management community.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, construction, mechanical, electrical, or related technical industries.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, contract administration, and construction practices.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC controls and the ability to interpret control system drawings and schematics.
- Demonstrated financial management and project budgeting experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and drive results.
- PMP certification preferred.
For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
