Full Job Description
Syblon Reid is hiring a Project Manager with 6+ years of construction experience to lead heavy civil projects in a self-perform environment. A Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree is preferred.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing heavy civil work and working knowledge of mechanical components tied to civil infrastructure, including valves, piping systems, pump stations, gates, hydraulic structures, and related equipment installation, testing, and startup support.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, schedules, and cost controls
  • Leading submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract administration
  • Coordinating field operations, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
  • Reviewing plans and specifications for constructability and scope
  • Supporting safe, timely, and high-quality project execution
  • Overseeing project closeout, testing, and turnover

Preferred background:
  • Heavy civil construction
  • Self-perform operations
  • Underground utilities
  • Water/wastewater or hydraulic infrastructure
  • Mechanical systems within civil projects
