Burnside & Associates Limited is seeking a performance-driven Intermediate Land Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse ICI and Mixed-Use developments while building strong client relationships and driving project success.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading land development projects from concept to completion
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and external agencies
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple offices
- Producing detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Conducting site visits and attending client/agency meetings
- Supporting cross-sector collaboration within Burnside
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day project tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare proposals, manage budgets, and lead business development efforts
- Conduct invoicing and manage accounts receivable
- Lead quality control processes and ensure design accuracy
- Identify new business opportunities and foster client relationships
What You Bring- Registered Professional Engineer (PEO) with 7+ years of licensure
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 7-10 years of land development experience
- Minimum 5 years of design and project management experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project
- Strong knowledge of municipal and provincial review processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000
The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
