About The Role
DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Project Manager willing to go through a Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil.
This role will support projects within a highly secure IT environment and will be responsible for coordinating project activities, schedules, resources, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications. The Project Manager will work closely with technical teams, operations teams, client stakeholders, and DXC leadership to ensure projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered.
The successful candidate MUST reside in the Ottawa area as work will initially be exclusively onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Subsequently, WFH is possible 2-3 days a week. Candidate needs to be flexible as work might require increased presence on site.
What You'll Do
· Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects from initiation through completion.
· Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
· Coordinate activities across technical teams, operations teams, vendors, client stakeholders, and other project resources.
· Track project progress and ensure activities remain aligned with agreed timelines, scope, and priorities.
· Identify, document, track, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and required actions.
· Facilitate project meetings, status meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
· Prepare and communicate project status updates, reports, meeting notes, action items, and other project documentation.
· Monitor project commitments and follow up with owners to ensure actions and deliverables are completed.
· Support resource planning and coordinate project requirements with technical and operational teams.
· Manage changes to project scope, schedule, priorities, and deliverables in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
· Work closely with technical specialists to understand project requirements and ensure technical activities are incorporated into the overall project plan.
· Support issue escalation and resolution by coordinating with the appropriate technical, operational, client, and management teams.
· Maintain project documentation and ensure project information is accurate, organized, and current.
· Help ensure projects follow client requirements, DXC processes, security requirements, and established governance practices.
· Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and internal DXC teams.
· Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve project delivery, coordination, communication, and processes.
· Other duties may also be assigned.

Who You Are
· Minimum 6 years of experience in Project Management, IT Project Management, Service Delivery, Program Coordination, or a similar role.
· This role requires Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil.
· Experience managing or coordinating projects in complex IT environments.
· Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue management, change management, and stakeholder management.
· Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, stakeholders, priorities, and project dependencies.
· Ability to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, action trackers, and other project documentation.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Experience working with technical infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT teams is considered an asset.
· Experience working within government, regulated, highly secure, or mission-critical environments is considered an asset.
· Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or equivalent are considered an asset.
· Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
· Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a larger team.
· Bilingualism is an asset.
Work Environment
This position is at a client site in Ottawa.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $61,600 - $111,600.
