Job Summary:
Manages construction project individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Provides full project leadership with accountability for end-to-end project delivery, representing the project team and resolving complex execution, stakeholder, and risk-related issues. Oversees the successful delivery of construction project(s) by providing advanced knowledge of construction activities, methodologies, and industry standards. Manages and develops the full project team, including project engineers and assistant project managers, through coaching, feedback, and performance oversight. Manages and coordinates multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements, timelines, and quality standards are consistently met. Ensures efficient project execution by monitoring team progress, analyzing project performance, identifying and resolving both routine and complex issues, owning project financials, contract administration, risk management, and complex stakeholder negotiations to achieve financial targets and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction project individuals by establishing expectations, supporting individualized development plans, facilitating training opportunities, and reinforcing continuous skill growth to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
Oversees end-to-end project execution by collaborating with project teams, monitoring progress, and addressing escalated, complex issues to ensure timely completion, while maintaining consistent field presence, leading participation in safety meetings including stretch and flex, and demonstrating fluency in high-risk activities to actively drive safe, planned, and controlled project outcomes.
Oversees and approves procurement of project-related materials, equipment, and specialty trade subcontractors as needed, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with SPW work sequences and field requirements.
Communicates project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging advanced knowledge and experience in project management.
Evaluates project performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
Reviews comprehensive project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference.
Partners with the Superintendent to lead implementation of project-specific quality and safety programs, ensuring teams and trade partners uphold DPR's safety standards and proactively identify and address potential risks to maintain an incident-free work environment.

Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required.
1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
