Project Manager to our dedicated dams, reservoirs and water resources team based in
Denver, CO.Position Summary We're seeking an experienced
Project Manager with strong dam and water-resources infrastructure expertise to lead project delivery across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West. In this senior role, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project execution, support key client relationships, and contribute to business development. You will also mentor staff and play an important role in growing a dynamic regional practice.

- Lead medium-to-large dam and water resources projects from planning through delivery, ensuring strong execution across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary client relationship manager for key accounts, building trusted partnerships and converting strategic relationships into repeat work and new business.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, hydrologic, and environmental disciplines to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions.
- Support business development efforts through proposal development, scope and fee preparation, client outreach, and identifying new project opportunities.
- Oversee and review technical deliverables, including modeling, feasibility studies, risk and condition assessments, hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, concepts, and design packages.
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and team growth across the dams and hydropower practice.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the industry, with strong knowledge of market trends, clients, and project delivery.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
- Proven experience managing engineering projects, including scope, schedule, budget, client communication, and delivery oversight.
- Strong background in dams project delivery, including planning, assessment, rehabilitation, design coordination, permitting support, and construction-phase services.
- Demonstrated ability to review technical work and provide sound engineering and project leadership guidance.
- Experience building client relationships and supporting business development, proposal efforts, and repeat work opportunities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
Additional Qualifications- Strong reputation in the industry through participation in USSD, ASDSO, ASFM, or related industry organizations.
- Familiarity with Mile High Flood District design criteria and Colorado State Engineer's Office permitting preferred.
Physical Requirements- Willingness to travel regionally to support client development, site visits, and project delivery.
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and through electronic means.
Additional Information- This position is based in our Denver, CO office on a hybrid schedule.
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed to meet project and business needs.
- Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000, based on experience, skills, certifications, and education.
