Job Summary
The Project Manager will manage a large-scale Salesforce Licensing, Permitting, and Inspection (LPI) modernization initiative. The role is responsible for coordinating business, technical, and vendor stakeholders, managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, and ensuring successful technology implementation through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The Project Manager will work closely with business and technical leaders to surface key decisions, drive resolution of issues, maintain project documentation, and ensure alignment with project objectives and success criteria.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Salesforce modernization product leadership, senior project management, technology leadership, external vendors, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and strategic alignment.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, scope documents, project plans, status reports, and operational checklists.
• Create project work plans, dependency diagrams, and schedules, including identification of resource skills required to deliver the project scope.
• Load and track project work plans and schedules using enterprise project management and reporting tools.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resources to fulfill business and technical requirements while maintaining strong stakeholder satisfaction.
• Facilitate technical support activities, including architectural reviews, compliance reviews, and development of project artifacts.
• Manage project issues and risks, identify potential barriers to project success, and coordinate mitigation and resolution activities.
• Serve as a primary communication point between internal stakeholders, vendors, and external agencies to coordinate meetings, collect feedback, track action items, and manage deliverables.
• Understand modernization goals, objectives, schedules, and functionality and communicate requirements clearly to development teams and implementation partners.
• Develop acceptance test plans, validate test plans with business stakeholders, and drive the testing and acceptance process.
• Ensure team members have appropriate access to systems required for collaboration, document review, testing, and product demonstrations.
• Maintain team rosters, including status and access to products and licensing.
• Maintain budget spreadsheets, track vendor billing, monitor project progress, and communicate discrepancies to senior management.
• Support organizational change management and end-user training activities.
• Coordinate project delivery using both Agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
• Manage vendor relationships and support contract-related activities for large-scale technology implementations.
Required Qualifications
• 5-8 years of experience in IT project management with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional IT projects.
• Experience working in project portfolio management environments involving external delivery partners and multiple software vendors.
• Strong issue and problem management skills, including root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts and methodologies.
• Experience creating and implementing project plans aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management methodologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and waterfall technology delivery methods.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities with limited direction while meeting established timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Project, and/or Planner.
• Knowledge of PMI project management concepts.
• Experience with organizational change management and end-user training.
• Experience managing software or services projects through end-to-end product development and implementation.

• Master-level knowledge of Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools.
