Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

Position Summary:

Responsible for planning, design and supervision of construction and environmental projects. Must possess a combination of education and leadership.

  • Provide scoping, scheduling, outreach and overall project supervision for the restoration of pedestrian walkways and roadways in residential corridors.
  • Provide quality assurance/quality control, utility coordination and inspection support through all project phases.
  • Provide overall management of construction phases and close-out completion.
  • Generate and manage asset management database(s).
  • Manage project budget and implement cost controls.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Managing both internal and external risks within the project's lifetime, such as poor planning designs, and government policies, which directly or indirectly affect the project.
  • Manage material dispatching.
  • Provide payroll and timekeeping support.


Education:

B.S. Construction Engineering or similar

Skills:
  • Ability to lead a team by being a good and effective communicator.
  • Excellence in building rapport and creating a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization by ensuring daily job allocation.
  • Excellence in planning how each process should be done, how resources are to be acquired, and when the project should be completed.
  • Ability to determine potential risks while devising proactive ways to solve them.
