Project Manager | Capital & TI ProjectsChicago, Hub Location, or RemotePosition Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Asset Management, Capital & TI Projects team.
Responsibilities:- Work in conjunction with Leasing, Property Management and/or Asset Management teams in the development of space planning, project implementation schedules & budgets
- Participate in the selection and on-boarding process of project implementation teams including but not limited to: Architects, Engineers, Due Diligence Consultants, and Contractors
- Prepare, negotiate, and facilitate the execution of agreements for consultants and contractors
- Participate throughout the design process from test-fit/schematic design through construction documentation
- Manage day-to-day execution of, and provide complete oversight on construction projects nationally for Capital Expenditure and Tenant Improvement projects
- Participate in regularly scheduled Owner / Contractor / Architect meetings (in-person and/or via conference call)
- Monitor and update project budget and schedule regularly throughout the duration of the project
- Leverage relevant experience overseeing representative projects, monitor and challenge project team members to ensure compliance with contract and client expectations
- Facilitate the monthly draw process by coordinating with Accounting & Property Operations teams to ensure all requirements are being met and team members are paid in accordance with all established parameters
- Assist in establishment of best practices and protocols through leveraging software and other industry tools to promote efficiency, quality and client satisfaction.
- At all times, strive to develop and maintain client relationships
- Report directly to EVP| Capital and Tenant Improvement Projects
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must posses the following qualifications:
- 5-7 years real estate project management experience
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Tenant Improvement design and project management experience
- Experience managing design consultants and contractors
- Strong understanding of monthly project draw and vendor pay application process
- Proficiency in standard Real Estate transactional documents (Leases, Contracts, Lien waivers, etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience/education required
- Proficiency in Microsoft based software, to include Word, Excel and MS Project, MS PowerPoint
Compensation: The salary range for this position is
$110,000 - $135,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws.
