Full Job Description
Position Title: Project Manager

Salary Range: $115,000-$170,000 / Year, DOE

This Project Manager opportunity is with an established specialty subcontractor focused on commercial metal framing and drywall projects, including luxury hospitality, high-rise residential, retail, and office renovations. The Project Manager will take ownership of larger, complex projects from post-estimate handoff through completion, managing budgets, change orders, schedules, field coordination and overall project performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of direct metal framing and drywall project management experience, has successfully managed projects in the $5M-$10M+ range, and knows how to keep complex jobs moving while building strong relationships with field teams, general contractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial metal framing and drywall projects from post-estimate handoff through successful completion
  • Oversee an average of 2-3 active projects while maintaining control of budgets, schedules, documentation and project priorities
  • Review completed estimates, develop project budgets and manage financial performance throughout the life of each project
  • Price and manage change orders, scope adjustments and other project changes that arise during construction
  • Lead larger, long-term projects ranging from hospitality renovations to high-rise and ground-up developments
  • Coordinate with project engineers, field teams, general contractors and internal leadership to keep projects on schedule and resolve issues quickly
  • Visit active job sites as needed while managing the majority of project planning, coordination, and administration from the main office

Requirements
  • 5+ years of project management experience within the metal framing and drywall industry
  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects in the $5M-$10M+ range
  • Strong background in high-rise, hospitality, or similarly complex commercial projects
  • Ability to manage project budgets, change orders, schedules and multiple active jobs with minimal oversight
  • Experience working with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid or similar construction project management and estimating systems preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across office and field teams
  • Degree is not required when supported by strong, relevant industry experience
