About Your Role

The Project Manager (Aviation) is responsible for managing airport capital improvement projects through all phases of project delivery, from planning and design through construction and closeout. This role serves as the owner's representative and works closely with airport stakeholders, airlines, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining uninterrupted airport operations.

Preferred Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • LEED Accreditation


What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
  • Minimum five (5) years of project management experience on active commercial airport projects.
  • Experience managing construction, renovation, or infrastructure projects valued at $5 million or greater.
  • Experience coordinating with airport operations, airlines, TSA, FAA, and other project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of airport construction phasing, operational constraints, and working within active airport environments.
  • Experience at large hub airports preferred.
  • Experience supporting terminal, security, utility, and airside improvement projects preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, construction administration, and project delivery methods.
  • Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Proficiency using project management software and related computer applications.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and meetings as required.

  • Monitor and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Review design documents and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and provide executive-level reporting and project updates.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage change orders and support contract administration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with airport operational requirements, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities to minimize operational impacts within active airport environments.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation and support project closeout activities.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Pay Rate
  • $75.00 - $110.00 per hour


A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
