The Opportunity:

Step into a high-impact Project Manager - Advanced Manufacturing role where you'll help lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects for advanced manufacturing clients. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineering and project management professional to manage multidisciplinary projects across Advanced Technology, Manufacturing/Industrial, R&D Laboratory, and Data Center environments while partnering with clients, engineering teams, and project leadership from project inception through closeout.

Position Summary:

As Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering projects supporting our Advanced Manufacturing clients. You will manage projects from inception through closeout, overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and deliverables while serving as a key point of coordination between clients, project leadership, and internal engineering disciplines.

The successful candidate will bring a mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering background along with experience supporting Advanced Manufacturing projects. This role requires the ability to coordinate complex technical teams, identify and resolve project challenges, maintain alignment with project requirements, and provide on-site support as required to successfully deliver projects.

  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects supporting Advanced Technology, Manufacturing/Industrial, R&D Laboratory, and Data Center clients from project inception through completion and closeout.


  • Coordinate the work of all internal engineering disciplines required for successful project delivery, including assembling project teams, coordinating resources, assigning responsibilities, and maintaining alignment across disciplines.


  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables, coordinating proposed scope changes with the Program Manager and other project stakeholders as required.


  • Develop project work plans and coordinate schedules and staffing requirements with discipline leads to ensure appropriate resources are available to meet project commitments.


  • Lead project coordination meetings and regular internal project team meetings to review progress, communicate project requirements, identify obstacles and risks, and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within scope.


  • Monitor project performance and regularly report project status to the Program Manager and Engineering Manager, escalating design, scope, budget, schedule, resource, or client-related issues as appropriate.


  • Review and coordinate the required project documentation and deliverables for each project phase or task, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project standards, and contractual obligations.


  • Support project quality assurance and quality control by coordinating with Glumac QA/QC teams and discipline leads to ensure established technical and project quality standards are maintained throughout project delivery.


  • Maintain effective communication with clients, internal engineering teams, consultants, and other project stakeholders, including participation in client and project coordination meetings.


  • Travel to client facilities and project sites as required to provide on-site project management, coordination, and support throughout project delivery.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.


  • 7+ years of relevant engineering, project management, or related technical project delivery experience.


  • Experience supporting projects within Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Technology, Manufacturing/Industrial, or other complex technical facility environments.


  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing projects from inception through completion.


  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and project documentation.


  • Experience coordinating engineering disciplines and working with discipline leads to plan and execute project work.


  • Ability to travel to client facilities and project sites as required to provide on-site project support.
  • Must be located within a commutable distance of a Glumac office.


  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.


  • Experience managing engineering projects involving Advanced Technology facilities, manufacturing/industrial facilities, R&D laboratories, and/or data centers.


  • Experience managing large, complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects within the AEC industry.


  • Experience managing project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and revenue recognition.


  • Experience working directly with clients, program managers, engineering managers, and multidisciplinary design teams.


  • Knowledge of engineering quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes and their application throughout the project lifecycle.


Work Environment and Location:

  • This position may require a combination of office, remote, client-site, and project-site work based on project and business needs. Regular travel and on-site presence at client facilities and project locations will be required to support project coordination, meetings, and project delivery.
  • This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in-office days per week in one of our local offices.


  • All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S.


Compensation:

Salary Range $155,000 - $185,000 (depending on experience)

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. This salary range is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package, which includes benefits, professional development opportunities, and additional incentives.
