M.C. Dean's Engineering and Construction business unit is currently seeking a Project Leader 3 to lead large, complex electrical projects ranging from $100M to $250M+. Projects include data centers, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, airports, transportation infrastructure and complex government facilities. In this role, you will be managing the entire scope of a project lifecycle from initiation through project close out. You will also be a key player during bidding phase and through implementation phase.
Responsibilities
- Performing the overall administration, organization, and implementation of large scale electrical construction projects.
- Managing several phases of a project lifecycle, including proposal, design, solutioning, installation, and close.
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including project requirements, manpower requirements, project layout, project schedules, detailed equipment plans and field office support.
- Coordinating and assisting with or leading a project kick-off meeting.
- Developing a Work Breakdown Structure for the project with properly named work packages and resources assigned to tasks (resource loaded) to establish a baseline resource plan.
- Assisting with the scheduling of resources on the project to maintain the baseline project schedule.
- Creating baseline vs actual reporting of resources, as required.
- Providing and executing site surveys, site cost studies, projected costs, forecasts, cost codes and progress reports, as required.\
