We are seeking an experienced
Project Executive to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through warranty.
This role is ideal for a proven construction leader who excels at building strong client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional project outcomes. As a Project Executive, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, mentor project teams, and help drive operational excellence across safety, quality, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:Executive Project Leadership- Provide executive oversight for assigned construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout and warranty.
- Lead project teams while ensuring successful execution of safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Serve as the executive liaison between office and field operations to promote collaboration and accountability.
- Anticipate project challenges and provide strategic guidance to resolve issues before they impact project success.
- Protect CORE's contractual, financial, and operational interests throughout each project.
Preconstruction Leadership- Partner with estimating, operations, and project teams during preconstruction planning.
- Participate in constructability reviews, scheduling, logistics planning, procurement strategy, and value engineering efforts.
- Identify project risks early and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- Review budgets, contingencies, schedules, and project assumptions to ensure successful project execution.
Business Development & Client Relations- Strengthen relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.
- Participate in proposal development, interviews, presentations, and strategic pursuits.
- Represent CORE at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
- Support long-term client partnerships that generate repeat business.
Financial & Operational Excellence- Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, profitability, and risk management.
- Review project reporting, cost controls, forecasts, owner billings, and subcontractor payment status.
- Support project teams with change management, financial planning, and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices.
Leadership & Team Development- Mentor Project Managers and project teams through coaching and professional development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and servant leadership.
- Support staffing strategies and collaborate with Operations Leadership to develop high-performing teams.
- Encourage ongoing learning, leadership development, and career growth.
