We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager.
The Project Engineering Manager is accountable to the Project Manager for compliance with schedule and budget and for adequacy of the engineering and multi discipline coordination for the overall project. The Project Engineering Manager also supports project management tasks, such as planning and developing project activities from initiation to completion with engineering, procurement, and construction management, where applicable.
Responsibilities:- Manages projects to meet or exceed the project objectives in accordance with PegasusTSI safety, quality standards, and procedures
- Leads and motivates the project team to successfully complete projects while mitigating risks throughout execution
- Reviews assigned project(s) with team to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, staffing plans, vendor lists, and progress billing points
- Establishes contractor-client liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project planning, start date and work progress
- Conducts regularly scheduled project progress review meetings with team and management
Qualifications:- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in engineering and construction
- Minimum of 5 years project engineering management experience on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects
- Significant experience with Refinery, Petrochemical, and Chemical projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration, highly preferred
- Proficient with technical software applications, including MS Office and Google Workspace
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
Additional Information:This position is based in the Tampa, Florida. While the company offers a hybrid work schedule, the role also requires the individual to be onsite in the office.
