Full Job Description
The Technical Publications Associate Manager position is within the Global Sustainment Technical Publications Center of Excellence (COE) and is responsible for managing day-to-day technical publications activity supporting the 53K King Stallion Heavy Lift Helicopter program, for the Sikorsky Line of Business (LOB).The scope of this support consists of development of new techncial manuals, multi-year sustainment, modifications, organizatioal, intermediate and depot level maintenance development. Additionally, this position will manage 53K international variant publications projects. Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project staff according to requirements. Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Desired Skills 3 Experienced in planning and leading Publications project efforts supporting US Military, Domestic, and International customer aircraft. 3 Subject matter expertise focusing on Aviation Maintenance, Parts breakdown manuals, and Interactive Media, specifically use of Interactive Electronic Tech Manuals (IETMs). 3 Ability to direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing publications projects within assigned area of responsibility. Basic Qualifications 3 Minimum of 5+ years of Publications project leadership experience or logistics/sustainment related equivalent, experience in a rotary wing (or equivalent aviation field) systems maintenance environment. 3 Experience managing project control accounts, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. 3 Experience in Earned Value Management,. 3 Candidate must be proficient in communication and organizational skills. 3 Ability to analyze data and relevant factors to inform decision making. 3 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality. 3 Bachelor level degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. 3 For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
