Standard Job DescriptionWhat We're DoingOur team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The WorkThe Project Engineer will have the responsibility to work with SE&V Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee EVMS for the cross Agile Release Train and Cross Functional Product Team efforts associated with SE&V contract proposals and Mods. In this role the selected candidate will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support development of SE&V IMS objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, support monthly ETC/EAC analysis and VAR explanations and will support cross spiral de-confliction, cross Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution

-Work will be performed as a member of an Agile Scrum team under the direction of a Team Lead who reports to the C2BMC Global Systems Engineering Manager.
-Work will be performed in a closed area.
-This position is a 100% in-office position.

Basic Qualifications• A final Secret Clearance is required.
• CAM/EVMS experience.
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle.
Desired Skills• Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience producing tooling and products to assist with the analysis or assessment of a system or project is desired preferably in java and python languages.
• Experience with DevOps related tooling (Jenkins, HTCondor, GitLab, etc) is desired.
• Experience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable.
• Experience with creating and briefing chart packages for tooling or analysis performed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to support short notice or urgent tasks without loss of efficiency.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
