Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000 / year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing costs; including tracking quantities and cost for production operations and materials.
- Managing of subcontractors including scheduling, progress, and payments.
- Writing and managing RFI's and Submittals
- Powerful verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of Contract documents and associated requirements for; change orders, requests for compensation, and time extensions.
- Project schedules including 3 Week and 90 Day Look Ahead Schedules
- Experience on bid-build unit price and lump sum projects with an understanding of the measurement and payment requirements
- Support and maintain as built drawings
- Coordination with project superintendents regarding schedule and resources including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
- Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA safety standards
- Multi-tasks and stay focused on the big picture while addressing daily issues
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**Please note--Requirements are essential, but preferences have flexibility. **
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- 5-10 years' experience working on public works projects with both field and office responsibilities is required.
- Excellent communication skills are required. Ability to listen, engage, and influence is vital.
- Excel--Ability to navigate spreadsheets and utilize Excel as a tracking system required.
- A Driver's License in good standing is required
Preferences:
- Prior experience working in the greater Los Angeles County region is preferred
- Those with water/wastewater experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
