Full Job Description
We are looking for an SSV Project Engineer to report to the SSV R&D Team Lead. The primary mandate will be to lead the design, development, and validation of mechanical systems for a line of recreational vehicle products.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop the components of systems from concept to production.
  • Develop a vision to guide system development on upcoming platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as suppliers throughout different stages of product development.
  • Participate in establishing performance criteria, creating validation plans for each system, and overseeing their implementation.
  • Participate in road tests to validate your concepts and ideas.
  • Conduct studies, analyses and calculations, using general and specific technical parameters, in order to guide design technicians and project developers in their work.


YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) is required.
  • The ability to use mechanical principles, tolerancing, and strength of materials.
  • Familiarity with the various operating and design principles of motor vehicle mechanical systems.
  • The ability to implement predictive calculation tools.
  • Proven project management skills, with a strong ability to learn and adapt.
  • Availability for occasional travel to our various manufacturing sites.
