Serves as the Lead Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Motor Pool Maintenance Advisor United Arab Emirates (UAE) in UAE. Senior U.S. contractor responsible for overall management, scheduling, coordination, and technical direction of field-level (U.S. Army 20-level) maintenance on the UAE-owned THAAD motor pool. Ensures safe, compliant, documented maintenance while developing UAE personnel toward independent execution of authorized tasks. Key responsibilities: Maintenance Management Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans; balance workload across personnel. Monitor open/aged work orders, parts shortages, and equipment awaiting technical assistance. Resolve production constraints; coordinate surge operations as required; Technical Direction Validate maintenance requirements, direct troubleshooting, determine local-capability limits. Enforce current technical procedures; prevent unauthorized work/modification. Oversee inspections, operational checks, and final acceptance of repaired equipment; Scheduling & Coordination Integrate scheduled & unscheduled tasks; forecast service needs for launchers, generators, and wheeled vehicles. Coordinate with UAE Fire Unit, GMC, Vallo Heavy, Al Taif generator/AC support, and Central Maintenance Facility (CMF). Communicate schedule changes, delays, and readiness impacts to UAE leadership; Personnel Direction & Training Assign tasks according to qualifications; mentor UAE Airmen and Logistics Airmen. Lead structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) program; evaluate proficiency and recommend qualification; Reporting & Quality Assurance Review daily maintenance status, AADMIS entries, repair-parts status, recurring-fault reports. Produce maintenance-readiness briefings and monthly readiness summaries for UAE THAAD leadership. Establish and enforce QA/QC procedures; investigate errors and initiate corrective actions; Safety Ensure all safety-critical work receives proper inspection; ensure tools/TMDE are serviceable and controlled. Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. Basic Qualifications • MOS/Skillset - Prior U.S. Army MOS 91B/X/Z (Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic) • Supervisory Experience - Equivalent to an E-7 Motor Sergeant or Motor Pool NCOIC; 5 years supervising field-level maintenance. • Technical Experience - 5 years wheeled-vehicle maintenance; expertise with THAAD launcher chassis, HEMTT, Wrecker, FMTV, LHS, and tactical generators. • Management - Proven record managing maintenance production, schedules, and QA/QC. • Systems - Experience with automated maintenance-management systems (e.g., AADMIS) and repair-parts logistics. • Training - Developed and delivered OJT programs for military personnel • Preferred - Prior THAAD/Patriot missile-defense, or comparable tactical-system experience; familiarity with UAE military procedures • Active Secret Security Clearance required Desired Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent written and oral communication with multi-national teams • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance publications • Leadership, mentorship, and cultural awareness in a joint U.S./UAE environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition.
