Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required.
• At least 5 years of progressive engineering experience in land development.
• Strong grasp of engineering principles, design standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in engineering design and analysis software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and preparation of plans for land development projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, utility, and roadway designs that adhere to client and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate permitting and agency approvals for project sites.
• Evaluate site constraints and propose efficient design alternatives.
• Produce comprehensive engineering designs, including plans, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, teams, and external stakeholders on technical work.
• Oversee and review work of engineers and designers for quality assurance.
• Prepare technical reports and documents using standard engineering software.
• Identify technical risks and resolve design issues to support project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate professionally with clients and partners, representing the company effectively.
• Mentor junior personnel to foster growth and development within the team.
• Engage in professional organizations to enhance industry knowledge and connections.
