Project EngineerPosition Summary
The Project Engineer provides critical support to the Project Management team by assisting with project coordination, documentation, tracking, and execution. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects run efficiently, remain compliant, and are completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain logistics and tracking systems for orders, deliveries, and equipment
- Coordinate site deliveries, reservations, and required equipment needs
- Assist with employee security clearance tracking per project requirements
- Manage tool and equipment rentals, returns, and tracking
- Maintain testing logs and organize documentation for system testing
- Process and track submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Track and maintain current drawings, revisions, and project updates
- Assist with change order pricing and development
- Support productivity tracking and project forecasting efforts
- Perform quality assurance, quality control, and compliance checks
- Attend jobsite meetings and support communication between teams
- Assist with commissioning processes including pre-functional checklists, start-ups, and coordination
- Collaborate with General Contractors on reporting, updates, and project requirements
QualificationsREQUIRED:- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in construction or related field as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Project Assistant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic
- Proficiency in computer systems and construction-related software
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction documents
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and tracking processes
PREFERRED:- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM360, Navisworks, Microsoft Office Suite, Vista Viewpoint, and Kojo.
- Osha 10 or 30 certification
Compensation Annual Salary- $70,000+ per hour based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
