Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in the construction industry
• Successful completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry training required within the first year
• Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and punch-lists
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Notify subcontractors of project start dates and manage delivery schedules to prevent delays
• Estimate costs and construction timelines for proposed changes and manage change order negotiations
• Prepare and coordinate submittal schedules with subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions
• Generate various project reports, such as material and submittal logs, to monitor progress and compliance
• Assist project manager with subcontract preparations and problem resolution regarding subcontract issues
• Verify monthly payment requests from subcontractors to ensure proper financial management
• Facilitate RFIs by clarifying project technical issues with architects and engineers
• Compile close-out documents, including warranties and service manuals, for project completion
• Participate in jobsite safety protocols as per company policies
• When not on a project, assist in the Estimating department with cost estimates and value engineering
