A unique opportunity to live and work in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Based in downtown Canmore, complete with mountain views and just 20 minutes from Banff National Park, you'll join a team delivering award-winning Municipal, Civil Land Development, and Transportation projects.

As a Project Engineer or Civil Technologist, you'll collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to shape infrastructure that supports thriving communities across the Bow Valley and beyond. You'll contribute to projects that improve how people live, move, and connect while growing your career alongside some of the industry's brightest professionals.

Your Impact
  • Design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway infrastructure, and site servicing projects from concept through construction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop innovative solutions for municipal engineering and land development challenges.
  • Lead and support engineering activities that meet client expectations, project objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that drive successful project outcomes.
  • Engage and communicate with contractors, regulatory agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to the planning and design of infrastructure that strengthens communities and supports sustainable growth.

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil Engineering Technology diploma, with eligibility for registration with APEGA or ASET.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and land development design.
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with local construction specifications, materials, standards, and processes.
  • Experience preparing technical drawings, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
