About the role: We are looking for a driven and proactive Project Engineer to support our product development. As a project engineer, you will have the opportunity to combine technical and managerial skills to manage the scope of work, deliverables, resources, budget, and schedule. You will participate on projects from initiation through delivery and interface with internal and external stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Have full responsibility and accountability for the project deliverables and outcomes
  • Organize and lead project activities and IPT meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Develop a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve task order objectives
  • Perform detailed project tracking. Recognize when problems occur and bring the right people together to solve them with the proper sense of urgency
  • Identification of program variance to plan, formulate actions plans to keep top level milestones on track through identification and management of the critical part
  • Interface with cross functional teams across the company
  • Communicate status updates on project progress to management and team members
  • Perform risk management and facilitate decision making process and prioritization
  • Own and maintain the product Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy and configuration control as designs evolve, and coordinating changes across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to keep the BOM aligned with the released design and production requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Program Manager

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with battery and/or electric motor product development is preferred
  • PMP Certification
  • Highly proficient with MS Project and Project Online Server
  • Understanding of aerospace systems development process
  • Excellent program/project management skills and experience managing subcontractors
  • Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • High level program/project management with proven ability to manage scope, resources, and schedule
  • Strong knowledge of engineering product life cycle management in a systems engineering framework
  • Familiar with RACI matrix and understand how to perform stakeholder analysis and management
  • High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, and budget

Location: Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.
