This role sits within facilities, projects, and oil and gas operations, with upstream experience considered advantageous. The working environment is project-driven and requires coordination across engineering, construction, and project management activities. The position supports delivery through multiple project stages and includes limited travel for Houston-based personnel, estimated at 3 to 4 days per month.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in tender development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection activities.
- Coordinate long lead equipment identification and sourcing during early project phases.
- Support the development of key project deliverables and functional interaction planning.
- Coordinate project issue resolution and change request activities.
- Ensure assigned work scope is delivered in alignment with project objectives and specifications.
- Act as an interface between the project team and contractor to support effective execution.
- Help ensure smooth transitions between project stages.
- Support the project management team in applying project management processes.
- Provide technical support to the engineering process and review production, malfunction, and maintenance information to address issues.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience across engineering, construction, project management, and project controls activities.
- Broad multidisciplinary knowledge gained through multiple project or functional assignments.
- Strong understanding of design standards, specifications, and work processes.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, coordination, and interface management capability.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, changing priorities, and demanding workloads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Facilities, oil and gas, and projects experience is essential; upstream experience is preferred.
