Description

Our Federal group is looking for a Project Engineer to support our growing portfolio of Department of Energy (DOE) projects in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-discipline design teams and coordinating design submittals.
  • Experience in all phases of project execution, from initial planning studies, support of project cost estimates, through detailed design and support during construction.
  • The candidate should have a clear understanding of the steps of project development and the level of detail required in each step of project development.
  • Experience with Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) design requirements.
  • Project field work, interfacing with construction or fabrication teams and completing redline markups.
  • Ability to develop and manage workplans, schedules and budgets and provide leadership to a diverse project team.
  • Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD), Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience writing and leading the development of technical reports and studies.
  • Support business development efforts by engaging with clients, developing engineering estimates and supporting proposal development.
  • Experience working with DOE Hanford Site contractors.

This position requires an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. The position may require travel to support projects, estimated at 10%.

Compensation

$95,000.00-160,000.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
