Position Summary:
This position is responsible for effectively coordinating projects, reviewing/improving part designs for manufacturability, associated tool design, drawings and secondary fixtures utilizing Pro-Engineer/CREO. Additionally, this position will collaborate closely with the internal teams in quality, tool room, production, sales, customer service, and externally with the customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines in a fast-paced, lean, high-volume, complex product manufacturing environment.
Review/improve part designs for manufacturability, associated tool design, drawings, and secondary fixtures.
Track program cost information to budgeted.
Regularly communicate with customers reporting, progress updates, changes and measurables.
Provide regular status updates to direct supervisor and executive team.
Effectively communicate with internal cross functional teams, customers, and sub-suppliers.
Use proactive approach to supporting and enhancing office operations, workflow, procedures, and customer relationships.
Read and interpret blueprints, including, but not limited to GD&T, customer specific requirements.
