Full Job Description
Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Engineer to join our onsite team for a military fuels demolition project. The Field Engineer will work closely with the Quality Control Manager, Deputy Project Manager, and Superintendents to support the successful execution of the project. This role involves assisting with communication with the client (NAVFAC HI), writing CONOPS, developing procedures, procurement of material, designing of field equipment and material, and solving problems related to the demolition project.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Project Support: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of fuel infrastructure demolition project, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Quality Control Assistance: Support the Quality Control Manager in monitoring project quality and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the Deputy Project Manager and Superintendents to coordinate project activities and resources.
  • Client Communication Support: Aid in communicating with the client (NAVFAC HI), providing updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Documentation: Write and maintain CONOPS, procedures, and other project documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all field activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing and presenting progress reports to project stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline
  • Proven experience in field engineering, preferably within the construction or demolition sectors.
  • Understanding of military fueling systems and processes a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise CONOPS and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience working with government clients is a plus.
  • Record and log all engineering decisions with clear backup and reasoning.
  • Materials procurement and tracking.
  • Autodesk AutoCad experience is a plus.
  • On site inventory tracking and organization.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 Per Year. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
