Description
What You'll DoAs a Project Engineer, you'll be at the center of engineering, execution, and innovation:
Engineering & Design- Design and specify bioprocess and clean utility systems for new and upgraded facilities
- Create and review critical engineering documents (P&IDs, GA drawings, BOMs)
- Perform calculations for equipment sizing and system validation
- Partner with designers to ensure equipment meets form, fit, and function expectations
Project Execution & Collaboration- Support Project Managers to deliver projects on time, on budget, and beyond expectations
- Track project scope, costs, and timelines-ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Act as a technical expert and customer point of contact throughout project lifecycle
- Jump in to support project leadership when needed
Quality, Testing & Delivery- Lead or support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)-both domestic & international
- Develop test plans and collaborate with customers for approvals
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to bring designs to reality
Automation & Innovation- Collaborate with Automation and Electrical teams on system functionality and communications
- Review and approve documentation like FRS and DDS
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (CI) and operational efficiency

What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, or similar)
- 3+ years of engineering experience (5+ preferred in biopharma, piping, or custom equipment)
- Experience supporting equipment manufacturing, testing, or automation is a strong plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma is a bonus
