Project Director

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking a Project Director to join our dynamic and energetic Mission Critical team to support operations in LOCATION. This role is an individual with accountability for the project delivery, acts as the representative of the organization and plays a vital leadership role through this pursuit and often closes out the project.

What you'll do:
  • Lead all aspects of project execution.
  • Build and maintain effective business relationships that will lead to potential projects.
  • Understand client funding, capital, and project life cycle.
  • Actively participate in the development and training of field leadership and project management.
  • Ensure that proper project planning, budgeting, and reporting occurs on all projects.
  • Leverage and grow existing Aldridge customer relationships to expand share of wallet.
  • Identify key players in various projects and customer organizations.
  • Build and leverage relationships with clients and prospective clients.
  • Champion a robust safety culture and provide overall safety leadership.
  • Host regular performance conversations to set goals, provide feedback, and support the development of direct reports.

Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • 8-10+ years experience in transportation space with equipment supplier, construction firm or equivalent.
  • Established network within engineering firms, developers, and their supply chain.
  • Strong presence and "seller" aptitude.
  • Ability to formulate and share creative solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excels at time management and prioritization, consistently meeting deadlines while generating high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations to executive teams, while remaining diplomatic and respectful.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Willing to Travel.

What we offer:

The annual base pay for this role is between $160,000 - $210,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus. Aldridge provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following:
