Full Job Description
As a Senior Estimator your primary focus will include the development and review of capital cost estimates, construction cost estimates and/or service estimates for a variety of different market sectors including Waste, Power and Industrial. Development of these estimates will typically require application of a crew-based approach including formation of crews from multiple disciplines along with performing quantity takeoffs and estimates from design drawings. Other responsibilities include data gathering and analysis, cost estimate database management, identifying problems and making recommendations, preparing basis and assumptions documentation, and supporting training as well as marketing activities including proposal development. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of current market conditions, construction methodologies, and other relevant information as needed to gain and maintain expertise in cost estimating.
