A Day in the Life:

The Specialist Project Controls will lead all the controls activities for facility projects including work standards, contractual scope requirements and actual field activities for Bunge North America Processing. Associated work will include working with the Bunge Project Managers, Procurement and third parties for all capital projects. Position will be responsible for ensuring proper controls are in place for all project activities, including: bid Package definition. Project Execution, Engineering scope definition, Procurement specifications, Financial Controls, Risk, Information Management, and Reporting.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Oversee development of project life cycle schedules through full integration of pre-FID engineering, detail engineering, procurement and field executable construction schedules working together with PM, Procurement and PMO.
  • Leads project planning & control mechanisms considering business needs and highlighting all critical milestones
  • Ensure team updates and aligns project codes, activity codes and WBS.
  • Coordinates week-to-week activities updates as aligned with the project engineering and construction teams.
  • Provides assurance on schedules submitted by contractors.
  • Analyzes schedule logic, activity durations, constraints, float, resource loading, critical path(s) and leveling resources as needed to support project constraints.
  • Produces schedule deliverables package appropriate for the project stage gate.
  • Analyzes and provides reports on engineering contractors meeting baseline deadlines.
  • Produces project management reports that effectively communicate project performance, concern, and other indicators of schedule performance.
  • Participates in schedule risk workshops to establish schedule contingency.
  • Applies, monitors, and reports schedule float and critical path.
  • Ensure the scheduler monitors and records approved schedule changes.
  • Ensures that the team manages stage gate baselines.
  • Support in resource planning and allocation during project execution & construction phase.
  • Provides regular updates on project planning control to the database platform and supports key KPIs presentation to Leadership team.
  • Provides expertise in project status monitoring, analyzing critical milestones, generating early warning mechanisms and supporting schedule expeditions.


Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • 5+ years of experience developing project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Projects for capital projects through entire project life cycle required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide oversight in schedule control on all assigned projects required
  • Experience analyzing project schedule risks throughout the project required.
