OverviewThe Project Controls Director directs and oversees the organization's portfolio of projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Responsibilities- Defines the organization's project management methodology and establishes processes for tracking and delivering projects.
- Establishes project teams and distributes the project workload.
- Serves as a liaison between project teams, external clients, or other functional areas of the organization.
- Sets and manages project expectations.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards and provides reports to clients or project sponsors.
- Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
- Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers.
- Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
- Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
QualificationsRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience, including some prior management experience.

Preferred Education, Experience, and QualificationsTravel Requirements- 0-5 % of time will be spent traveling to job site/office location.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

- Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Pay RangeUSD $134,430.00 - USD $179,380.00 /Yr.
