OpportunityPeopleTec is currently seeking a Project Control Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Preparation of financial internal/external reports to include Annual Operating Plan, EACs/ETCs, WBS setup, charging practice, determinations, purchase requisitions, monitoring subcontractor costs, review/approve/track invoices, CFSRs, and prepare customer invoice backup documentation
- Participate in the preparation of budgets for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis, such as funding profiles, revenue outlook, and variance analysis
- The candidate must be able to multi-task and support multiple complex elements of the project efficiently and effectively
- Interface with contract, subcontract, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing organizations, pricing, as well as Program Managers, Corporate Line Management, and external customers
- Review Request for Proposals (RFPs) and prepare pricing models
- Other duties as assigned by the company CFO and management
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of direct corporate Project Control experience.
- Preferred experience supporting the EXPRESS Program (Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services), including financial monitoring and analysis of actual costs against budgeted values across specific EXPRESS domains, such as Technical, Programmatic, Logistics, and Business & Analytics
- JAMIS accounting system experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet goals and deadlines accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in data tracking and research
- Ability to work productively under minimal supervision and follow instructions (oral and written)
- Ideal candidate must be able to work cooperatively with others and maintain effective work relationships with all those contacted while performing required duties
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and proprietary information
- Experience with PowerBI would be a plus

Education Requirements:
- A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university is required.
