Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate hand sketching skills
Advanced construction detailing and specifications expertise
Experience with building codes
Preferably has industrial warehouse and distribution experience, especially with IMP Wall or cooler facilities
Minimum 6 years in an architecture firm preferred
Minimum 10 years of hands-on production experience preferred
PEMB experience is a plus
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior staff to meet project requirements
Research and implement zoning, site planning, and building codes
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
Evaluate work progress and update senior staff on production
Prepare design drawings, models, and specifications as directed
Integrate tenant interiors with core and shell documents
Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
Prepare detailed architectural documents required for production
Participate in discussions with contractors, consultants, and clients
Submit documents for plan review and permitting processes
Address plan review comments and construction submittals as directed
Perform site observations to ensure compliance with contract documents
Travel to project sites as necessary

We are seeking a Project Architect with robust BIM and AutoCAD skills, experienced in construction document production for structural steel framed, tilt-wall concrete, insulated metal panel and/or commercial masonry buildings to join our growing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with senior staff to respond to project and program requirements
Able to research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes
Understand and implement all applicable codes and regulations and ensure compliance
Evaluate work progress and inform senior staff regarding production expectations
Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff
