OverviewProject Technical/ Project Architect acts functioning as Technical Lead for projects. Responsible for owning the technical execution of assigned interior architecture projects as a core member of the project leadership team. Responsibilities- Responsible for leading and owning the technical execution of small and medium sized projects of limited complexity.
- Responsible for actively and regularly partnering with design and management leaders to execute the project, coordinate resources and integrate inputs from project inception to completion.
- Participate as a leading member of the project team in all aspects of project scope - informing the workplan, supporting design, complying with jurisdictional requirements, leading and producing content for all phases of documentation, overseeing construction administration services and coordinating with outside consultants.
- Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions.
- Responsible for ensuring the production of construction documents are in concert with design intent.
- Conduct code analyses and act as a point of contact with jurisdictions.
- Perform submittal reviews during construction, maintain RFI and submittal logs.
- Assist in managing client expectations.
- Coordinates communication between project team, sub-contractors and other disciplines.
- Conducts on-site observations and prepares architect's field reports.
- Responsible for document coordination and design detailing.
- Coordinates project teams and team assignments to complete interior design and/or architectural projects.
- Use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices.
- Performs work requiring judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/ modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

- Knowledge of building materials, building codes, specifications, construction techniques, interior and/or architectural detailing.
- Experience with building codes, ADA requirements, zoning and generally knowledgeable in jurisdictional processes.
- Sufficient knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate work.
- Competent in business writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in REVIT, Bluebeam, Newforma, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office and other applicable programs.
- Possess BIM modeling skills.
Requirements
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- Design professional with (typically) eight plus years of experience in commercial interior architecture (with optional experience in interior design)
