Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate project teams and consultants from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to mentor team members and maintain client relations.
  • Ensure alignment of the client's vision and goals with project execution and documentation.
  • Oversee technical planning and quality of project documents, assisting with team reviews.
  • Deliver projects on schedule and budget, making impactful recommendations.
  • Participate in leading client presentations and internal project meetings, as well as technical consultant meetings.

How will your days be spent

  • Responsible for leadership, management, and coordination of project team members and consultants from project inception through completion.
  • Work with the Project Manager to lead and mentor team members and consultants while representing the firm to the client. Manage project consultant coordination and relationships.
  • Ensure the client's vision, goals, and objectives are understood by all team members and consultants. Implement design requirements through documentation and construction, maintaining design intent and integration of specific pieces of the project.
  • Gain increased responsibility for the technical planning and execution of project documents, including the quality, organization, and content. Assist project leadership with team debriefings and communicate lessons learned.
  • Deliver design-sensitive projects on schedule and within budget while making authoritative decisions and recommendations of significant impact related to the project.
  • May be responsible for participating in and leading client presentations. Participate in and conduct internal project team meetings and begin to lead technical and consultant meetings.


What you bring to this role

Experience:
  • Minimum of ten years of architectural experience, with at least five years of recent Project Architect experience on relevant, large-scale projects leading multi-disciplinary teams required.
  • Experience with one of Flad's market segments preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal, and graphics communication skills essential.

Software:
  • Revit proficiency required.
  • Previous experience with AutoCAD preferred.

Education:
  • Professional degree in architecture required.
  • Professional registration required.
  • Sustainability accreditation preferred.

Annual base salary range is currently: $100,000 - $140,000. Actual starting salary will be within that range, and is dependent upon job-related education, knowledge, and experience.
