Pourquoi rejoindre l'équipe du Génie de la Fabrication MED?

En tant que programmeur de commande numérique vous vous rapporterez au Superviseur Technique de l'Ingénierie de la Fabrication pour les pièces expérimental MED. Vous serez responsable de développer les programmes d'usinage pour nos machines NC 3, 4 et 5 axes ainsi que les tours numériques pour la fabrication des composants de moteur P&WC (Turbines, compresseurs, chambre à combustion, etc.). Vous aurez la chance de collaborer au sein d'une équipe d'une trentaine d'agent de méthode, de programmeurs NC et de spécialiste de procédés spéciaux.

À titre de programmeur de commande numérique, vous serez également responsable de supporter et optimiser les méthodes de fabrication dans l'atteinte des objectifs de livraison de l'usine de fabrication.

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Coordonner des projets de mise en production et développement de pièces;
  • Créer des programmes de commande numérique (tournage-fraisage multiaxes)
  • Validation des programmes de commande numérique en utilisant des programmes de simulation (Vericut).
  • Émettre et gérer des demandes de changements à la programmation CN et à la conception de l'outillages;
  • Gérer les bibliothèques d'outils de coupe dans le but d'améliorer la qualité et de réduire les couts de fabrication.
  • Interpréter et valider des requis techniques des dessins, modèles et des spécifications clients;
  • Définir l'outillages pour le montage ou le contrôle des pièces en collaboration avec les services connexes;
  • Coordonner l'introduction des nouveaux produits et des changements à travers des processus de qualité strictes et normalisés;
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les machinistes et inspecteurs de l'usine pour parfaire les méthodes et adresser les problématiques des pièces en développement ;
  • Assurer le support technique à l'atelier de fabrication et aux fournisseurs externes;
  • Établir des standards de travail afin d`améliorer la qualité et la robustesse des procédés de fabrication.
  • Participer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue CORE.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Diplôme d'études collégial en fabrication ou conception mécanique;
  • 5-10 ans d'expérience comme Programmeur de commande numérique;
  • Expérience comme machiniste (CNC et/ou conventionnel)
  • Maîtrise du logiciel Catia V5;
  • Connaissance de SAP, PLM ;
  • Maîtrise de la Suite Microsoft Office et MS project;
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (oral et écrit) ;
  • Travail d'équipe, autonomie, bonne communication, souci du détail.


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une connaissance des termes techniques en anglais pour lire et comprendre des instructions spécialisées, des plans, des dessins et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et parfois communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Specialist - experimental parts

Why join the Manufacturing Engineering team MED?

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will be reporting to the Technical Supervisor of the Manufacturing Engineering team MED. You will be responsible for developing manufacturing methods for P&WC engine components (turbines, compressors, combustion chambers, etc.). You'll have the chance to work as part of a team of some thirty methods agents, NC programmers and special process specialists.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will also oversee the support and the optimization of manufacturing methods to meet the delivery requirements of the manufacturing center.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Create and write complex manufacturing operation sheets for parts and assemblies of aeronautical engines;
  • Interpret and validate technical requirements of drawings, models and customer specifications;
  • Define the tooling for the assembly or the control of the parts in collaboration with the related services;
  • Coordinate projects for the production and development of parts;
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products and changes through strict and standardized quality processes;
  • Work in collaboration with the machinists and inspectors of the plant to perfect the methods and address the problems of the parts in development;
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing workshop and external suppliers;
  • Establish work standards to improve the quality and robustness of manufacturing processes;
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


What do you need to be successful?
  • College diploma in manufacturing or mechanical design;
  • 3-5 years of minimum experience as a Process planner;
  • Experience as a machinist (CNC and/or conventional)
  • Mastery of Catia V5 software;
  • Knowledge of SAP, PLM;
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite and MS project;
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written);
  • Teamwork, autonomy, good communication, attention to detail


Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a knowledge of technical terms in English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
