Job Description

Harborview Medical Center’s Madison Clinic - Primary Care Program has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Operations Specialist, Grants and Contracts Manager.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE
  • Day Shift

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create processes or procedures on contract reporting to ensure compliance
  • Review, develop, or approve grant-related regulatory reports
  • Track and oversee reporting for various Primary Care contracts
  • Represent Harborview’s Primary Care programs at meetings with key funders such as King County and state of Washington
  • Develop policies/procedures for Primary Care programs to adhere to regarding grants/contracts
  • Oversee accounting and budgeting planning process as it relates to primary care grants/contracts
  • Represent the Primary Care department in negotiating contracts/funding meetings/liaison to UW Medicine Accounting & Finance
  • Develop or enhance Primary Care info systems, billing procedures
  • Analyze grant opportunities and support the growth opportunities for PC programs
  • Oversee development of clinical technology initiatives
  • Recommend changes to existing standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, finance, or accounting AND 4-5 years of full-time experience as a contract or accounting manager, preferably in a Behavioral Health program.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

  • Master’s degree in health care administration or accounting
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of position skill requirements related to tasks, knowledge and abilities.
  • Fluency in Excel, budgeting, and grant/contract reporting.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$79,404.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum:

$119,100.00 annual
