Program Manager – Strategic Delivery & Execution

We are seeking a highly motivated and execution-focused Program Manager with strong project management capabilities who can lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and turn ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable plans that deliver measurable results. This individual will manage a diverse portfolio of complex technology and business initiatives, with individual project budgets ranging from $1M to $10M, while maintaining visibility and accountability across scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.

This individual be able to operate across both the program and project levels – provide structure and visibility across a portfolio or work while also directly managing critical projects when needed. The role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the ability to build alignment across technical and business teams, and the discipline to drive initiatives from concept through execution.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities. They must be able to navigate strong personalities and subject matter experts, establish clear ownership and accountability, identify and escalate risks, and keep multiple workstreams moving forward.

This role requires someone who can see the big picture while managing the details—balancing priorities, resources, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives.

How You’ll Power the Future

• Lead cross-functional projects from intake through implementation using structured project management practices.
• Translate ambiguous business ideas, operational challenges, or executive direction into clear project plans, deliverables, milestones, and ownership models.
• Facilitate collaboration between business leaders, developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, vendors, and operational stakeholders.
• Apply strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
• Drive project execution with a focus on timelines, budget management, scope control, and measurable outcomes.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps early while proactively developing mitigation strategies.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, status reporting, RAID logs, action trackers, and executive updates.
• Hold teams accountable while maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Navigate difficult conversations and manage highly opinionated or stubborn subject matter experts to drive alignment and decisions.
• Coordinate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and project governance meetings.
• Ensure project documentation, testing, change management, and operational readiness activities are completed effectively.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Promote a positive, solution-oriented culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Have

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management, PMO, or strategic delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, application development, infrastructure delivery, and enterprise technology environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience leading projects involving business transformation, enterprise applications, integrations, or operational improvements. (Applications:  Workday, Openlink, Maximo, AI, Snowflake)
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to execute projects on time and within budget.
• Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and positive in high-pressure environments.
• Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification.
• Experience in regulated or highly operational industries such as energy, manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, or finance.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms, integrations, and IT governance processes.
• Experience building project structure and accountability in fast-paced or evolving organizations.
