Program Manager
In this role, you will lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive program performance from kickoff through completion. You will oversee cost, schedule, and deliverables; collaborate closely with engineering, production, logistics, quality, and leadership; and maintain accountability for customer commitments. Your work ensures programs stay on track, risks are managed, and milestones are met across multiple defense manufacturing efforts.
Responsibilities
Provides program oversight for Integrated Product Teams through all phases of assigned programs.
Manages cost, schedule, and performance, including subcontractor activities.
Leads multiple programs simultaneously and ensures alignment with customer requirements and deliverables.
Develops program plans that define resource needs, budgetary expectations, and schedule performance goals.
Manages budgets including baseline development, variance analysis, monthly estimates, and Estimate to Complete updates.
Reports program status to executive leadership with clear, concise updates on progress toward targets.
Supports program review sessions with Department of Defense customers and monitors key milestones and schedules.
Ensures adherence to contract requirements, risk management practices, resource planning, and reporting expectations.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Production Planning, and Supply Chain to accomplish program objectives.
Monitors contract compliance and assists with justified cost reviews and related program activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in a technical field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Department of Defense programs.
Experience with Microsoft Project and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of cost and financial management, including Earned Value Management methodologies.
Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
