Full Job Description
About the role

Connexus Hub is looking for a Program Manager to lead an Army contract that places administrative support staff at 41 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide. Our clerks work alongside Army Senior Guidance Counselors to move applicant packets, medical documentation, and waivers through MIRS, ARISS, Recruiter Zone, and MHS Genesis so future Soldiers can process and ship on time.

You will be the single point of contact for the Army Contracting Officer and COR, with full authority to act for Connexus on daily operations. If you have worked in Army recruiting or at a MEPS and know how applicant processing really runs, this role puts that experience to work at national scale.

What you will do
  • Lead a team of 41 General Clerk III employees at MEPS sites across the U.S., Hawaii, and Puerto Rico
  • Assign and monitor daily work, including same-day administrative actions, 8-hour document turnaround, and 72-hour follow-ups
  • Oversee quality control of applicant packets and correspondence to AR 25-50 standards
  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, background investigations (e-QIP), and system access requests (DD Form 2875) with our recruiting and security teams
  • Arrange coverage for absences, notify the COR of vacancies within 24 hours, and see that vacancies are filled within 10 workdays
  • Prepare weekly attendance reports and monthly activity reports, and lead quarterly performance reviews with the Government
  • Build working relationships with Senior Guidance Counselors and MEPS staff, and resolve issues quickly
  • Attend meetings, briefings, and program reviews at Fort Knox as required

Required qualifications
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in how the Army operates, including managing, staffing, and overseeing work similar to MEPS administrative support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MEPS operations and applicant processing
  • Experience supervising staff, ideally across more than one location
  • Working knowledge of AR 25-50 correspondence standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • S. citizenship and ability to pass a federal background investigation
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred qualifications
  • Prior service or civilian work as an Army recruiter, guidance counselor, recruiting station or company leader, or USAREC or USMEPCOM staff member
  • Hands-on experience with MIRS, ARISS, GCR, Recruiter Zone, or MHS Genesis
  • Experience managing a Government service contract, including reporting to a COR
  • Bachelor's degree or PMP certification

Eligibility note

Under the contract's conflict-of-interest rules, we cannot hire anyone currently assigned to, working for, or on duty with USAREC or its subordinate units, or a family member (spouse, child, parent, in-law, stepparent, or stepchild) of such a person.

Connexus Hub is a woman-owned federal contractor supporting the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and civilian agencies. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and offer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays.
