Full Job Description
ADI's Aerospace and Defense business unit develops a wide variety of multi-function modules, including frequency synthesizers, phased array beamformers, amplifiers, transmit/receive modules, frequency converters, and proximity sensors. These products are designed using a combination of SMT and hybrid construction technologies and operate across frequency ranges through millimeter-wave.

The Associate Program Manager is responsible for managing program activities across new product development, transition to production, and/or production execution. This role partners closely with Contracts, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to drive program execution. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to operate independently within defined program scope.

Responsibilities:
  • Own coordination and assist senior team with execution of program activities across:
    • New Product Development (NPD)
    • Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) preparation
    • Manufacturing handoff and production ramp
    • Production execution and performance monitoring
  • Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, track execution progress, and manage risks and issues.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, and internal partners; support customer interactions as needed.
  • Drive cross-functional team alignment, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Monitor program financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and key metrics through regular reporting and presentations to internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer communications, including status updates and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate internal meetings (e.g., Engineering/Manufacturing reviews) to improve execution efficiency and program outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to program schedules, cost targets, and quality expectations.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business management, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of program/project management experience in an engineering or technical development environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of program management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting financial tracking and procurement activities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functional teams and contribute to customer-facing discussions.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations to internal stakeholders.
  • US Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with microwave module assembly and test methods.
  • Experience in defense industry.
  • Exposure to contracting environments, including FAR-regulated programs
  • Active Secret Clearance.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $87,188 to $119,906.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
