About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and vision-driven Program Director to oversee and manage the operational, financial, and personnel functions of our Gilroy, CA programs. In this leadership capacity, you will ensure exceptional clinical care and regulatory compliance, optimize day-to-day operations, and foster an inclusive, high-performing team environment dedicated to brain injury rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Management
Analyze data and evaluate existing systems to design procedures that improve operational and clinical effectiveness.
Develop, monitor, and manage the annual program budget in collaboration with the Clinical Director and executive management team.
Approve all program-related expenses, purchases, and facility maintenance requests.
Manage the program's petty cash system, ensuring accurate balances, proper logging, and timely weekly reporting/reconciliation.
Oversee site infrastructure, properties, vehicles, and health/safety standards, conducting quarterly walkthroughs of all facilities.
Team Leadership & Staffing
Lead, mentor, and build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for full-time and part-time team members.
Assign and oversee staff trainers for new employee orientation.
Manage employee schedules to maintain required staffing ratios, meet client treatment needs, and coordinate the on-call coverage system.
Process weekly payroll and maintain precise tracking of PTO, sick time, and leave.
Promote staff development, encourage open conflict resolution, and recognize team achievements.
Clinical Quality & Compliance
Partner regularly with the Clinical Director to evaluate admissions, discharges, client care plans, and budgetary needs.
Ensure program alignment with company policies, human resources regulations, safety guidelines, and governing bodies (CARF, etc.).
Track, complete, and evaluate quality assessment and program evaluation systems.
Meet routinely with the Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations to review site performance, client care, and organizational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
