Position SummaryThis position has responsibility for program development and planning, implementation of programs, collection of data to analyze and evaluate program effectiveness, management of multi-disciplinary programs and contract staff, forecasting trends related to effective programming, and researching effective program outcomes of treatment services to youth. The position advises direction for program implementation by assessing social and economic needs of clients in order to accurately administer the financial activities of multi-million dollars in programming. This position also implements state policies and guidelines of State and Federal laws, administrative rules, and state agency rules and regulations. The position also determines and evaluates contractual and programmatic performance outcomes and quality improvement plans to ensure Department goals are met.
Salary InformationThis position is in pay schedule and range 07-03 with a starting pay of $32.23/hour - $46.59/hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Job DetailsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.
The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.
This position is eligible for remote work, up to three days per week.
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and are required to meet State of Wisconsin fleet requirements. This position requires travel.
QualificationsMinimally qualified applicants will have experience:
- Applying policy and program analysis techniques (i.e. research, design, data collection, etc.)
- Planning, developing, and implementing programs
- Evaluating and/or auditing programmatic performance outcomes and developing improvement plans or corrective action
In addition to the above, well-qualified applicant will have experience:
- Working with program budgets and purchasing processes
- Developing working relationships and working with community program organizations for client services
