Job title: Production Systems EngineerLocation: West Whiteland
The role: As a Production Systems Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
- Maintaining accurate, controlled manufacturing process documentation in line with quality, regulatory and internal standards.
- Creating and maintaining product routings in KBM to reflect current manufacturing processes, resources and lead times.
- Supporting the migration of process documentation and manufacturing data into CAQ systems, ensuring version control and data integrity.
- Leading the Quote Review Board (QRB) process to assess manufacturability, cost feasibility and production readiness for new product opportunities.
- Developing detailed cost analyses covering labor, materials, equipment and external vendor contributions.
- Coordinating with external vendors to assess capabilities and integrate supplier processes into internal routing and costing models.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, production systems or a closely related engineering role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, process documentation and product routing.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems, with KBM experience highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cost estimation, manufacturability assessments and vendor evaluations.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills when working across engineering, production, planning and commercial teams.
