Production Supervisor
Permobil has a position open for a Production Supervisor
- Pay Range: $31.00 to $46.00
Your Role in Our Mission
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Supervise and support production team members in areas such as attendance, training, task execution, and employee relations.
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
- Monitor material flow to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and product quality.
- Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to communicate priorities and resolve issues.
- Ensure production processes follow lean manufacturing principles and standard work practices.
- Support compliance with site rules, regulations, and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.
What You'll Bring
- Familiarity with visual management tools and production tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a production setting.
- Experience with automated production machinery, hand tools, power tools, and fabricating equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to train and motivate team members effectively.
- Problem-solving ability to address issues such as material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and workflow disruptions.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Supervision experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to positively lead and mentor employees to meet production, quality and safety goals.
- Ability to positively and effectively communicate across all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in the English language (written and oral).
