Full Job Description
The Production Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in building a safe, engaged, and high-performing manufacturing team while ensuring operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost. This role is responsible for developing frontline talent, driving accountability through Daily Management systems, and leading continuous improvement activities that position the organization for future growth. This position will report to the Production Manager and will be an on-site role in Putnam, CT.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost objectives.
  • Develop, coach, and hold accountable production associates and front-line leaders while creating a culture focused on engagement, teamwork, and performance.
  • Drive Daily Management processes including tier meetings, visual management, standard work, and performance tracking and ensure adherence to safety requirements, quality systems, operating procedures, and company policies.
  • Monitor operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions through structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Partner with HR on employee relations matters, attendance management, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing DBS, Kaizen, root cause analysis, countermeasures, and waste reduction methodologies.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and resource planning to support customer demand and business objective and support strategic initiatives and organizational transformations that improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee experience.


The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading employees in a manufacturing, operations, or production environment with accountability for safety, quality, and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while fostering a positive and engaged work environment.
  • Experience utilizing performance metrics and operational data to drive decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, DBS, Kaizen, 5S, or structured problem solving.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain, and Human Resources


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Leading operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Supporting multiple shifts and managing diverse manufacturing teams.
  • Implementing Lean, Kaizen, or DBS improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.


The annual salary range for this is between $95,000 and $120,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
