Production Manager II to join our team located in

The Production Manager II plans, leads, organizes, and directs the operations of the shop floor as it relates to production, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and grounds.

What Success Looks Like: - Establishes leadership to area of assigned responsibility, to support the development and implementation of programs regarding safety, employment, labor relations, management training, manpower planning, technical expertise, and customer relations.
- Assures all production orders are completed on schedule, per budget, and at the quality levels developed by management to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
- Manages the development and training of reporting personnel in the area of manufacturing processes, J.I.T., quality assurance, employee relations, safety and continuous improvement.
- Works with materials to ensure achievement of proper inventory turns as defined by support sales service objectives.
- Manages the weekly production planning forecasts based on customer input and information from the Plant Manager, Customer Service, Materials Management, Engineering, and Sales.
- Ensures the implementation and maintenance of a quality system that ensures metrics are met and 100% on-time delivery the first time.
- Supports plant initiatives and directives regarding safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration or 7+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience in a managerial role within manufacturing is required.
- Experience in production, production control, engineering and supervision essential.
- Must have thorough knowledge of product offerings and product/process capabilities.
- Must have fundamental understanding and experience with lean manufacturing.
- ERP/Scheduling knowledge and experience.
The salary for this position is $86K - $130K w/ bonus potential.
